The CARING Team is a neighbor-to-neighbor volunteer effort serving the Barrington Hills community. Our goal is simple: to help connect residents with short-term support, useful resources, and caring neighbors when life gets difficult.
The CARING Team may be able to help with things such as food, pet food, household essentials, deliveries, check-ins, donated items, and other temporary needs.
Medical Assisting Devices
The CARING Team also maintains a small collection of medical assisting devices that may be available for residents to borrow or use when needed.
These items may include:
- Canes
- Walkers
- Wheelchairs
- Shower chairs
- Bedside commodes
- Other mobility or assisting devices, depending on availability
Availability may change from time to time based on donations, current requests, and what is already being used by other residents.
These items are provided as community assistance only. The CARING Team does not provide medical advice, medical treatment, or professional medical services. Residents should always follow the advice of their doctor, therapist, or medical provider when using any medical assisting device.
Request Confidential Assistance
Use this form to request help from the CARING Team. Requests may include food, pet food, household essentials, or other short-term needs.
Your request will be reviewed by designated CARING Team members only. A CARING Team volunteer may contact you to better understand the request and coordinate available help.
If this is an emergency, please call 911. If you need immediate medical, safety, or law enforcement assistance, contact the appropriate emergency service directly.
Information submitted through this CARING Assistance Request form is intended to be kept confidential and reviewed only by designated CARING Team members for the purpose of coordinating community assistance. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical records, legal documents, or other highly sensitive personal information through this form.
Volunteer or Donate
The CARING Team depends on neighbors who are willing to help. You can volunteer your time, donate food, donate pet food, provide household essentials, help with deliveries, make check-in calls, or assist with organizing donations.

Confidentiality
CARING requests are used only to coordinate community assistance. Access is limited to designated CARING Team members. Requests are not posted publicly, shared with the general community, sold, or used for marketing.
Information may be retained only as long as needed to coordinate assistance or maintain appropriate internal records.
